"Dude, I really need to catch up on my school work" is probably the most overrused cliche in academia, despite the fact that most often it is the overachieving/gunner douchebags that utter them.  So here it is, a simple chart to break down what this little trite phrase really means across a spectrum of students in both a college and professional school setting.

Thank you for your email pointing out my spelling mistakes.  I know I misspelled "cliche" by not putting the little french accent over it.  I have a life that prevents me from wasting my time with such asinine tasks.  You on the other hand, seems to have so much free time that you would actually email me about the error.  I hate you because you're a douchebag.  I envy you because you actually have free time.
